“And Jesus answering saith unto them . . . Have faith in God !
For verily I say unto you _______ (your name), What things soever ye desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them . . . !”

“Nevertheless . . . when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth ?”

Welcome:
We invite you to join us at this year’s 2017 International Adventist Prayer Conference.   This year’s theme is “O Zion, Prepare ye the Way of Our LORD ! (Isaiah 40:3);  and will focus on our Saviour’s great promise, that “He came to heal the broken hearted, and to set the captives free.”
Speakers from around the world will share their experience of the dangers of spiritualism, mysticism and the occult; and of the unfailing power of our Mighty God to rescue, deliver and to save !

This year’s Prayer Conference will be our 3rd International Event. And will be held at Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center, Mt. Hermon, California, USA.  Previous Conferences in 2012 at Wonju, Korea and again in 2013 at Saitama, Japan, have been powerful and inspiring, with attendance growing each year.

We praise our LORD  and Saviour to see such interest and participation, as men and women of God “watch, pray and work” together (5T, p.235) to prepare our hearts and those of our families to be ready to meet our Lord.

Pokémon – Is it Just Fun and Games ?

A Former Witch Doctor Shares His Thoughts About Pokémon
By Danique Tersmette, Little Light Studios,
September 26, 2016

There was only one thing in the world for which a 7-year old Dutch girl would get up at 6 am and turn on the TV: Pokémon. Even though I was not raised a Christian, my parents did not like the idea of me and my brother watching animals fighting each other. Too much aggression, they said. So the only option was to sneak out of bed, turn on the TV and watch Pokémon before my parents would wake up. They became a bit more mellow later on, and my brother was allowed to have Pokémon cards. I even borrowed a Pokémon Diamond game for the Nintendo GameBoy Color from a friend (which I forgot to return and kept for years). My childhood truly was all about Pokémon. But we all get older, and I had already forgotten about these little creatures. But then came Pokémon Go. Is the world hooked? Not a doubt.

During staff worship at It Is Written ministry this morning someone shared a true story told by a former witchdoctor that I found quite shocking, and I think it’s a story worth sharing . . . Continue reading

The 10th Commandment ?

ten-commandments-childrenThe Tenth Commandment

When you look at the Ten Commandments, they are pretty straight forward all the way through up to the last one. John was right when he said, “…His commandments are not grievous (too hard, too difficult, not a burden)” (1 John 5:3).

His Commandments are . . .
1 – Have no other gods
2 – Do not worship idols
3 – Do not take His name in vain
4 – Remember the Sabbath day to keep in holy,
5 – Honor your parents
6 – Do not kill (murder)
7 – Do not commit adultery
8 – Do not steal
9 – Do not lie
10 – Do not covet.

Everything is fairly plain and simple until you get to the last one. The last one is very interesting. It says, “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s” (Exodus 20:17). Think about that for a minute. To covet something is to want something you do not have. God had already said, in laws seven and eight, not to take your neighbors wife or anything that belongs to him. Now He says, don’t want (even desire) them . . . ? Continue reading

2016 – Pope calls for a “One World Religion !”

“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship (obey, yield homage to) him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world. If any man has an ear, let him hear . . . !”
     Revelation 13:8

“When the leading churches of the United States, uniting upon such points of doctrine as are held by them in common, shall influence the state to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, then Protestant America will have formed an image (likeness) of the Roman hierarchy, and the infliction of civil penalties upon dissenters will inevitably result. . . .

The enforcement of Sunday-keeping on the part of Protestant churches is an enforcement of the worship of the papacy. . . .

In the very act of enforcing a religious duty by secular power, the churches would themselves form an image to the beast (Revelation 13:1-18); hence the enforcement of Sunday-keeping in the United States would be an enforcement of the worship (service, homage) of the beast and his image.” –

Great Controversy, p.445-449 (1911 edition)

“When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism (Eastern mysticism), when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions . . .  Then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near !”

And All the World Wondered After the Beast ?

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast (ref: Daniel 7:16-25) rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns; and upon his heads the name of blasphemy . . .    ref: John 10:33 and Revelation 17:7-18

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death . . . and the deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered after the beast . . . and all that dwell upon the earth shall worship (serve and obey) him, whose names are not written in the book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world . . . . If any man have an ear, let him hear !”   Revelation 13:1-10, 16-18

Who was Easter ?

“The renowned Oxford English Dictionary informs us that the name Easter is derived from the name of a goddess whose festival was celebrated at the time of the vernal equinox. We are told that she was originally known as the dawn goddess – no doubt the origin of sunrise celebrations at the time of Easter.

According to Venerable Bede, a seventh century Anglo-Saxon theologian, the English word Easter is derived from the name of the pagan fertility goddess Eostra. He tells us that “the heathen Anglo-Saxons called the fourth month “Esturmonath” after their goddess Eostra – another name representing the spring fertility goddesses such as Astarte or Ashtaroth, the goddess who was introduced into the British Isles by the Druids. In all actuality Easter is just another name for Beltis or Ishtar of the ancient Babylonians and can be traced all the way back to Hathor, the cow goddess of Egypt that was associated with the building of the golden calf at Mt. Sinai. Continue reading

Questions on Music ?

hymns 2Comparing Hymns and Contemporary Worship Songs

As most of you know, I believe wholeheartedly that a healthy church chooses congregational songs with theologically rich text and well-crafted, singable music. This is part one of a three part discussion on some of the differences between hymnody and contemporary worship songs.

The Problem

Protestant denominations have been singing people since the days of the Reformation. Their hymns represented the mettle and fortitude they displayed in breaking away from the religious establishment (Roman Catholic church), and forging ahead in their new faith traditions. The American versions of these faith traditions initially carried on the mantle of hymnody, with much content being shared between denominational lines. In many churches today, hymns and hymnals remain, either as a vital piece of corporate worship practices or as a sentimental nod to the past.

In other churches, including churches in most if not all major denominations, there has been a decided shift . . . .

Left Behind . . . The Truth or fiction ?

left-behind-poster1     “Behold, He cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him . . . !

“For the chariots of God (Elohim) are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels. And the Lord (Adoni – the Sovereign King) is among them, even as He was in Sinai, in the holy place . . . !”
Psalm 68:17

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the Voice of the Archangel (the One Who holds command over the angels) . . . and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first !”

Preach the Word . . . !

Bread of Life1     “And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, no so much as about the door . . . . And He (Jesus, Yehushua) proclaimed the Word unto them !”   Mark 2:1-12

And they were astonished at His teaching, for His Word was with power . . . !”   Luke 4:32 & I Thessalonians 2:13

“To my ministering brethren I would say, Preach the Word. Do not bring to the foundation wood, hay, and stubble,–your own surmisings and speculations, which can benefit no one. Subjects of vital importance are revealed in the Word of God, and these are worthy of our deepest thought. But we are not to search into matters on which God has been silent . . . .

When questions arise upon which we are uncertain, let us ask, What saith the Scripture? Continue reading

The Submerging Church ?

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine (Biblical teaching); but after their own carnal desires, shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears . . . And they shall turn away their ears from the Truth, and shall be turned unto fables . . . !”   II Timothy 4:2-4

A preview of the powerful new Christian documentary from GoodFight Ministries. In this film is revealed the eastern mystical roots to which much of the “Emerging Church” movement, Contemporary Christianity and Spiritual Formation owe their popularity.     We are witnessing the fulfilment of Biblical prophecy like never before, as the serpent once again seeks to cast his spell of doubt on the Word of Almighty GOD !   And through these men seeking to bring all the world’s religions in union as one.
