The Open Door – Our Atonement at Calvary ?

resurrection2     “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He first loved us . . . and sent His Son to be the propitiation* (atonement) for our sins . . . !”
I John 4:9-10 and 4:19

The Mercy Seat is Opened to All

Christ was nailed to the cross between the third and sixth hour, that is, between nine and twelve o’clock. In the afternoon He died. This was the hour of the evening sacrifice. Then the veil of the temple, that which hid God’s glory (ref: Exodus 33 and 34) from the view of the congregation of Israel, was rent in twain from top to bottom.

Through Christ the hidden glory of the holy of holies was to stand revealed. He had suffered death for every man, and by this offering (II Corinthians 4:4-6 & Hebrews 10:10-20) the sons of men were to become the sons of God . . . Continue reading

Begotten Again ? – sons and daughters of the Living God

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord (Sovereign King) Jesus Christ . . . . which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively (Living) hope, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead . . .” I Peter 1:3

And Jesus says to you and I, Marvel not that I say unto thee, Ye must be born (begotten again) . . . . For except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God !” John 3:7, 3

This is the very essence of the Gospel, the condition upon which all our Salvation (deliverance, freedom and healing) and Redemption hangs. And it is this greatest of Promises, which our Lord and Saviour desires each of us to understand and to know personally by experience. . . . that we might become truly “sons and daughters” of the Most High !      ref: II Corinthians 6:14-18

The Faith of Jesus ?

pilgrims progress 1“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus !”Revelation 14:12   This well-known verse is a wonderful description of those who are waiting for our Lord’s return. There are, however, some conflicting opinions as to the exact meaning of this verse, in particular in regards to “the faith of Jesus.”Some say it means faith in and some say it means faith of Jesus.

The original Greek of this portion of Scripture can be read both ways: faith in or faith of. For Christians, both aspects are of vital importance. I prefer to read this as “the faith of Jesus.” This ties in with other portions of Scripture that literally read the faith of God or faith of Jesus. For example, in Mark 11:22, Jesus says, “Have faith in God.” But the footnote states that the original meaning is, “Have the faith of God.” Continue reading

The Substance of Things hoped for !

Bible - Isaiah_44-22     Why is it so difficult for us to believe in God ? . . . .
If Satan has cast his dark shadow across your path, look up in faith, and God will let His Light shine upon you and dispel the darkness !       Satan would like to have you cherish that shadow (of doubt). He would like to have you view God through a cloud of his own making; but we are to be in a position of faith and confidence in God . . . .

Satan (the Accuser) will come to you after you have trusted in God, and will try to steal away the Victory that faith has gained. He will present your sins to you; but can you not tell him it is written, “The blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanseth us from all sin?” I John 1:7.

If you have repented of your sins, and have confessed them to God, you need no longer go on in doubt and despondency. God does not want you to stand under a cloud. He wants you to come into the Light, and to have confidence in Him, knowing that you have committed your soul unto His keeping, as unto a faithful Creator . . .  ! Continue reading

After the Tribulation !

“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the Voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first . . . !”   I Thessalonians 4:16-17

“Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen !”     Revelation 1:7

All across this world, men and women of the LORD are awakening to the Truths of the Holy Scriptures. Great Light is being poured forth now like never before. The Early and the Latter Rain is beginning to fall upon souls all around us. And although they may not as yet have seen all that which the LORD is ready to reveal, yet they are hungry and listening. Are we ready to open our Bibles with these souls, and share with them the Water of Life freely?
Are we also daily listening for, and hearing His Voice ? Continue reading

Consecration and the Latter Rain ?

Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth the Words of My mouth. My doctrine (teaching) shall fall as the Rain, and My speech shall distil as the dew . . . . Then shall we know,
if we follow on to know the LORD . . . for this is Life eternal, that we might know Him . . . . His going forth (Fountain) is prepared (as faithful) as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the Rain, as the Latter and Former Rain unto the earth !”
Deuteronomy 32:1-2 & Hosea 6:3

The LORD wants us to come up into the mount,— more directly into His Presence. We are coming to a crisis which, more than any previous time since the world began, will demand the entire consecration of every one who has named the name of Christ . . . ! Continue reading

The Voice Crying in the Wilderness !

“Can these dry bones live ?
. . . . The Voice of him that crieth in the wilderness (desert), Prepare ye the Way of the LORD (Yehuwah), make straight in the desert a highway for our God !”
Ezekiel 37:1-11 & Isaiah 40:3

For I will pour Water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour My Spirit upon thy seed (children), and My Blessing upon thy offspring !”
Isaiah 44:3 & ref: Galatians 3:14 Continue reading
