So Great Salvation – a Closer Look at Daniel 9:24 in Light of Calvary !

“For thus saith the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) that created the heavens, God Himself that formed the earth . . . (ref: Psalm 33:6-9 and Genesis 1:1 thru 2:3) I have not spoken in secret, in some dark place of the earth, Yea, I said not unto the seed (children) of Jacob, Seek ye Me in vain . . . for I the LORD that speak righteousness . . . yea, I Am mighty to SAVE . . . !” Isaiah 45:11-19 and 63:1

“God, Who at sundry times and in diverse manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, by Whom also He made the worlds . . . How shall we escape, if we neglect (are carless, make light of) so great Salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him . . . ?”
Hebrews 1:1-3 and 2:3

“The same power that Christ exercised when He walked visibly among men is in His Word. It was by His Word that Jesus healed disease and cast out demons; by His Word He stilled the sea and raised the dead, and the people bore witness that His Word was with power. He spoke the Word of God, as He had spoken to all the prophets and teachers of the Old Testament. The whole Bible is a manifestation of Christ.

The Scriptures are to be received as God’s Word (Voice) to us, not written merely, but spoken . . . . When the afflicted ones came to Christ, He beheld not only those who asked for help, but all who throughout the ages should come to Him in like need and with like faith. When He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee;” when He said to the woman of Capernaum, “Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace,” He spoke to every other afflicted, sin-burdened ones who should seek His help. Matthew 9:2; Luke 8:48.

So with all the promises of God’s Word. In them He is speaking to us individually, speaking as directly as if we could listen to His Voice. It is in these promises that Christ communicates to us His grace* (G5485) and power. They are leaves from that Tree which is “for the healing of the nations.” Revelation 22:2.

The Risk of Eternal Loss . . . ?

“It is a question of vital interest to ask ourselves, “Is it well with my soul?”
Christ has paid an infinite price for our redemption. The Lord of glory laid aside His royal robes, and became a man among men. For “though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich.”

What a wondrous plan is the plan of Salvation (deliverance, rescue, freedom, healing and restoration). Christ clothed His Divinity with humanity, suffered in the flesh, died a most cruel death (Romans 6:10), that He might reach to the very depths of human woe and misery, and lift men up to a seat upon His throne. Will you be lifted up? Will you be cleansed from the leprosy of sin? Continue reading

The Origin and Reasons for the Season ?

“Hear ye the Word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel . . . Thus saith the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah), Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven . . . !”   Jeremiah 10:1-5

For “well did Isaiah prophesy of us, saying . . . This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and they honoreth Me with their lips; but their hearts are far from Me. For in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men . . .”   Matthew 15:6-9

It is our prayer that each child of God will search for the Truth, as it is in Christ Jesus. For the Bible says, “The times of our ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent . . . . Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man (Christ Jesus) Whom He hath ordained . . . !”   Acts 17:30-31

God’s Law & the Glad Tidings of Christ ?

Bible 4A Personal Faith in Christ Our Greatest Need

“For the law of the Spirit of (and) Life in Christ Jesus, hath made me free from the law of sin and death . . . . For what the Law could not do, in that (because) it was weak through the flesh, God sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and in exchange for sin, condemned sin in the flesh . . . .

That the righteousness of the Law (character of God) might be filled full in us, who walk (live) not after (by) the flesh, but after (by) the Spirit !”     Romans 8:2-4

The thought that the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us, not because of any merit on our part, but as a free gift from God, is a precious thought . . . . The enemy of God and man is not willing that this Truth should be clearly presented; for he knows that if the people receive it fully, his power will be broken.

He is Mighty to Save . . . !

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in His apparel (the robe of His righteousness) travelling in the greatness of His strength? . . . I that speak in righteousness, am mighty to save !”

Isaiah 63:1, ref: Revelation 19:11-16 & Isaiah 61:1-3

Jesus knows the circumstances of every soul. The greater the sinner’s guilt, the more he needs the Saviour. His heart of divine love and sympathy is drawn out most of all for the one who is the most hopelessly entangled in the snares of the enemy. With His own blood He has signed the emancipation papers of the race !

Jesus does not desire those who have been purchased at such a cost to become the sport of the enemy’s temptations. He does not desire us to be overcome and perish. He Who curbed the lions in their den, and walked with His faithful witnesses amid the fiery flames, is just as ready to work in our behalf, to subdue every evil in our nature.

Today He is standing at the altar of mercy, presenting before God the prayers of those who desire His help. He turns no weeping, contrite one away. Freely will He pardon all who come to Him for forgiveness and Restoration. He does not tell to any all that He might reveal, but He bids every trembling soul take courage. Whosoever will, may take hold of God’s strength, and make peace with Him, and He will make peace !   ref: Isaiah 27:5

The souls that turn to Him for refuge, Jesus lifts above the accusing and the strife of tongues (ref: Romans 8:31-34). No man or evil angel can impeach these souls. Christ unites them to His Own Divine-human nature.
ref: II Peter 1:4

These precious Words every soul that abides in Christ may make his own. You (he) may say:

          “I will look unto the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah);
I will wait for the God (Elohim – Might One) of my Salvation (deliverance, freedom, healing & restoration)
           My God will hear me.

           Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy;
           When I fall, I shall arise . . . . When I sit in darkness,
The LORD shall be a Light unto me.

He will again have compassion on us (even on me),
He will blot out our iniquities . . . . Yea, Thou wilt cast all our sins into the depths
of
the sea!”   Micah 7:7, 8, 19,                                 Noyes’s translation.

     God has promised:

“I will make a man more precious than fine gold; Even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.”
                                                                                                                                                Isaiah 13:12.
“Though ye have lain among the pots (as a harlot),
Yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver,
And her feathers with yellow gold.”   Psalm 68:13 & ref: Jeremiah 3:1-23

Those whom Christ has forgiven most will love Him most. These are they who in the final day will stand nearest to His throne. “They shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads.”     Revelation 22:4.

He is More Than Able !

Bible Isaiah     “Wherefore He is able to save (deliver, set free, rescue, heal, and make whole) to the uttermost all that come unto GOD (The Almighty) by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them !”     Hebrews 7:25

This above all else we must remember. And it is this Truth which the entire Bible was written to reveal. For the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) created all the worlds by His spoken Word, and He still today, holds up all those suns and stars by that same Living Spirit-filled Word !
ref: Hebrews 1:1-3

And by that very same Word He is able also to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the throne of His glory with exceeding joy !   ref: Jude 1:24 Continue reading

The Living Bread from Heaven? -part 2

“For as the Rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth . . . for the LORD God (Yehuwah Elohim) formed man of the dust (clay) of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the Breath of Life . . . and maketh it bring forth and bud (fruits of the Spirit), that it may give Seed to the sower, and Bread to the eater. So shall My Word be that goeth out of My mouth . . .

It shall not return unto Me void, but It shall accomplish that which I please,
and It shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent It . . . !”     Isaiah 55:10-11 Continue reading

To Believe in Him ?

Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace !”   Luke 8:48

Our confession of His faithfulness is Heaven’s chosen agency for revealing Christ to the world. We are to acknowledge His grace as made known through the holy men of old; but that which will be most effectual is the testimony of our own experience. We are witnesses for God as we reveal in ourselves the working of a power that is Divine.”

The Scriptures are to be received as God’s Word to us, not written merely, but spoken. When the afflicted ones came to Christ, He beheld not only those who asked for help, but all who throughout the ages should come to Him in like need and with like faith . . . . Continue reading
