For verily I say unto you _______ (your name), What things soever ye desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them . . . !”

“Nevertheless . . . when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth ?”

Welcome:
We invite you to join us at this year’s 2017 International Adventist Prayer Conference.   This year’s theme is “O Zion, Prepare ye the Way of Our LORD ! (Isaiah 40:3);  and will focus on our Saviour’s great promise, that “He came to heal the broken hearted, and to set the captives free.”
Speakers from around the world will share their experience of the dangers of spiritualism, mysticism and the occult; and of the unfailing power of our Mighty God to rescue, deliver and to save !

This year’s Prayer Conference will be our 3rd International Event. And will be held at Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center, Mt. Hermon, California, USA.  Previous Conferences in 2012 at Wonju, Korea and again in 2013 at Saitama, Japan, have been powerful and inspiring, with attendance growing each year.

We praise our LORD  and Saviour to see such interest and participation, as men and women of God “watch, pray and work” together (5T, p.235) to prepare our hearts and those of our families to be ready to meet our Lord.

Our Trial by Fire ?

faith-trial-2a     “Blessed be (praise be to) the God and Father of our Lord and Sovereign King Jesus Christ, Who according to His abundant mercy . . . hath begotten us (you and I) again unto a living Hope* (assurance) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead . . .
To an inheritance (for we are joint-heirs with Him) that is incorruptible, and undefiled . . . and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you _____ (your name). Who are kept by the power of God (Deity, divinity – II Peter 1:4) through faith,

“For we are made a spectacle unto men and to angels . . .”

Wherein, ye greatly rejoice . . . though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations.   That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than that of gold which perishes . . .. even though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ !”
I Peter 1:3-7

“Knowing this . . . that the trying (trial) of your faith, worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, so that ye may also be perfect and entire, lacking nothing . . . for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God . . . .

And blessed is the man or woman that endureth temptation, for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of Life, which the Lord (our Sovereign King) shall give to all them that love Him !”   James 1:3-4, 12 and ref: Romans 10:17

“Yea, beloved . . . think it not strange concerning the fiery trial that is to try you (Malachi 3:1-4), as though some strange thing is happening unto you. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings (the trial of His faith in you) . . .so that when His glory shall be revealed ( in you – Colossians 1:27), ye may be glad also with exceeding joy !”   I Peter 4:12-13

“And I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried . . . . And they shall call upon My name, and I will hear them . . .  and I will say, It is My people, and they shall say, The LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) is my God (Elohim – Mighty One) . . . !”

The Path (Way) of Life ?

bethesda     “My son, My daughter . . . . attend to My Words, yea, incline thine ear to My sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart . . . For they are Life unto those that find them (John 6:63), and health to all their flesh !”
– Proverbs 4:20-22

“The Saviour in His miracles revealed the power that is continually at work in man’s behalf, to sustain and to heal him . . . Sickness, suffering, and death are work of an antagonistic power. Satan is the destroyer; but God is (our) the Restorer . . . !

The Words spoken to Israel are true today of those who recover health of body or health of soul. “I Am the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) that healeth thee !” Exodus 15:26.

The desire of God for every human being is expressed in the Words, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 2.  He it is Whoforgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies !” Psalm 103:3-4

When Christ healed disease, He warned many of the afflicted ones, “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” John 5:14. Thus He taught that they had brought disease upon themselves by transgressing the laws of God (Theos – Deity, divinity), and that health could be preserved only by obedience.

The physician should teach his patients that they are to cooperate with God in the work of restoration. The physician has a continually increasing realization of the fact that disease is the result of sin. He knows that the laws of nature, as truly as the precepts of the Decalogue, are divine, and that only in obedience to them can health be recovered or preserved. He sees many suffering as the result of hurtful practices who might be restored to health if they would do what they might for their own restoration. They need to be taught that every practice which destroys the physical, mental, or spiritual energies is sin, and that health is to be secured through obedience to the laws fruits-veggies-3that God has established for the good of all mankind.

When a physician sees a patient suffering from disease caused by improper eating and drinking or other wrong habits, yet neglects to tell him of this, he is doing his fellow being an injury. Drunkards, maniacs, those who are given over to licentiousness* (immoral thoughts and practices), all appeal to the physician to declare clearly and distinctly that suffering results from sin. Those who understand the principles of life should be in earnest in striving to counteract the causes of disease. Seeing the continual conflict with pain, laboring constantly to alleviate suffering, how can the physician hold his peace? Is he benevolent and merciful if he does not teach strict temperance as a remedy for disease?fruits-vegetables-fresh-2

Let it be made plain that the way (path) of God’s commandments is the Way of Life. God has established the laws of nature, but His laws are not arbitrary exactions. Every “Thou shalt not,” whether in physical or in moral law, implies a promise. If we obey it, blessing will attend our steps. God never forces us to do right, but He seeks to save us from the evil and lead us to the good.

Let attention be called to the laws that were taught to Israel. God gave them definite instruction in regard to their habits of life. He made known to them the laws relating to both physical and spiritual well-being; and on condition of obedience He assured them . . .

The LORD will take away from thee all sickness.” Deuteronomy 7:15. “Set your hearts unto all the Words which I testify among you this day.” “For they are Life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Deuteronomy 32:46; Proverbs 4:22.

God desires us to reach the standard of perfection made possible for us by the gift of Christ. He calls upon us to make our choice on the right side, to connect with heavenly agencies, to adopt principles that will restore in us the divine image. In His written Word and in the great book of nature He has revealed the principles of Life. It is our work to obtain a knowledge of these principles, and by obedience to co-operate with Him in restoring health to the body as well as to the soul.

bread-barleynote:
The physical life is to be carefully educated, cultivated, and developed, that through men and women the divine nature may be revealed in its fullness. Both the physical and the mental powers, with the affections, are to be so trained that they can reach the highest efficiency.

That perfection* of character which the Lord requires is the fitting up of the whole being as a temple for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. God will accept of nothing less than the service of the entire human organism.

It is not enough to bring into action certain parts of the living machinery. All parts must work in perfect harmony, or the service will be deficient. It is thus that man is qualified to co-operate with God in representing Christ to the world. Thus God desires to prepare a people to stand before Him pure and holy, that He may introduce them into the society of heavenly angels.

Perfection of character cannot be attained when the laws of nature are disregarded; for this is transgression of the law of God (Theos – deity, divinity). His law is written by His own finger upon every nerve, every muscle, every fiber of our being, upon every faculty which has been intrusted to man. These gifts are bestowed, not to be abused and corrupted, but to be used to His honor and glory in the uplifting of humanity. { Review & Herald, November 12, 1901}

Men need to learn that the blessings of obedience, in their fullness, can be theirs only as they receive the grace* (G5485 = Divine Influence) of Christ. It is His grace that gives man power to obey the laws of God. It is this that enables him to break the bondage of evil habit. This is the only power that can make him and keep him steadfast in the right path . . . !”

The power of the Blood of Christ ?

crownofthornsThe Blood of Christ ?

“Grace* and peace unto you (Ephesians 2:13-14) . . . from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne.   And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful Witness (martyr – Romans 6:10), and the First Begotten of the dead . . . even the death of the cross (Philippians 2:8), and the Prince of the kings of the earth . . .

Unto Him that loved us, and washed* us from our sins in His Own blood (Leviticus 17:11 and Isaiah 53:12), and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father . . . to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen !” Revelation 1:4-6

“This then is the message* (pledge of Divine assurance of good) which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all.   If we say that we have fellowship with Him (God), and yet walk in darkness* (shadiness, dimness, obscurity), we lie, and do not the Truth . . .

But if we walk in the Light (Psalm 119:105 and John 1:1-14), as He (Christ Jesus) is in the Light, we have fellowship* (association, union) one with Another . . . and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin . . . !”

The Trial of your Faith ?

Bible-Verse Psalm 2710    “My brethren and sisters, count it all joy when you fall into various temptations (trials and adversity). Knowing this, that the trial (testing) of your faith worketh patience. And let patience have her perfect work, so that ye may also be perfect and entire, lacking nothing . . .And if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God (Elohim), that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth (reproacheth) not; and it shall be given him.But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering . . . For he that cometh to GOD, must believe that He Is, and that He Is (I Am) a Rewarder of all those who diligently seek Him !”
