The Promise is Sure !

“And when the evening was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils . . . and He cast out the spirits with His Word (John 14:10-11), and healed ALL that were sick . . .
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying . . . He Himself took our infirmities,* and bare our sicknesses !”  Matthew 8:16-17

“When the Saviour said, “Go, . . . teach all nations,”   He said also,These signs shall follow them that believe . . . In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up (loose the hold of) serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”  Mark 16:15-20     The promise is as far-reaching as the commission. The Assurance of Our Salvation !

Can we really have assurance of our Salvation ?

The Word of God gives each of us this unfailing promise . . . . “Behold, a King shall reign in righteousness . . . . Until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted as a forest.     And the work of Righteousness shall be Peace; and the effect of righteousness shall be quietness and assurance for ever . . . !”     Isaiah 32:1, 15-17 and ref: 51:1-3 and Ephesians 2:13-14

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) . . . that I will raise unto David a righteous BRANCH, and a King (Matthew 28:18-19) shall reign and He shall prosper . . . And in His days Judah shall be saved * (delivered, rescued, set free, healed and made whole), and Israel shall dwell safely.  And this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS !”
Jeremiah 23:5-6

The Elephant, the chains and your Freedom in Christ !

“One soul is of more worth to Jesus than the whole world. Let the soul look to Jesus, let him “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”     No one will be compelled to look to Christ; but the Voice of invitation is sounding in yearning entreaty, My son, My daughter . . . Look and live !          ref: Numbers 21:4-9 & John 3:14-21

Jesus has not changed. With Him there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He still loves and pities the erring, seeking to draw them to Himself, that He may give them divine aid. He knows that a demon power is struggling for the control of every soul striving for the mastery; but Jesus came to break the power of Satan, and to set the captives free !”

How Faith Grows Strong ?

Bible 7The Necessity of Cultivating Faith ?

The Scripture declares, “Without faith it is impossible to please God.”
The knowledge of what the Scripture means when urging upon us the necessity of cultivating faith, is more essential than any other knowledge that can be acquired. We suffer much trouble and grief because of our unbelief, and our ignorance of how to exercise faith.

We must break through the clouds of unbelief . . . ! Continue reading
