Since the dawn of time, legends have been passed from one generation to another of heroes which saved humanity from some unspeakable evil. In every culture, these fantastic tales have had their effect on the minds of man. The result of these mythological stories on humanity, and even on GOD’s own people at the time of Jesus Christ’s first advent, was devastating. Many did not recognize Him because of unfamiliarity with the Biblical prophecies, concern-
ing His nature, His work and the manner of His coming in human flesh, as a child to Bethlehem.
Their minds had been flooded with another picture/image of the Saviour, and they were seeking a much different type of hero. Did the Devil blind us at Christ’s first coming, by flooding the world with counterfeit prophesies and pictures of false Messiahs? And since Super Heroes in today’s comics are based on these same classical myths; is the Devil in one last attempt, seeking to blind all mankind from the greatest supernatural event this world will ever witness . . . Christ’s Second coming in the clouds of heaven !
