International Adventist Prayer Conference – 2017 preview

“And Jesus answering saith unto them . . . Have faith in God !
For verily I say unto you _______ (your name), What things soever ye desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and ye shall have them . . . !”

“Nevertheless . . . when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth ?”
                                                                                   Mark 11:20-24 and Luke 18:1-8

Welcome:
We invite you to join us at this year’s 2017 International Adventist Prayer Conference.   This year’s theme is “O Zion, Prepare ye the Way of Our LORD ! (Isaiah 40:3);  and will focus on our Saviour’s great promise, that “He came to heal the broken hearted, and to set the captives free.”
Speakers from around the world will share their experience of the dangers of spiritualism, mysticism and the occult; and of the unfailing power of our Mighty God to rescue, deliver and to save !

This year’s Prayer Conference will be our 3rd International Event. And will be held at Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center, Mt. Hermon, California, USA.  Previous Conferences in 2012 at Wonju, Korea and again in 2013 at Saitama, Japan, have been powerful and inspiring, with attendance growing each year.

We praise our LORD  and Saviour to see such interest and participation, as men and women of God “watch, pray and work” together (5T, p.235) to prepare our hearts and those of our families to be ready to meet our Lord.

An Undivided Heart ?

The powerful testimony of a woman in search of God –

Are we merely content with a “form of godliness,” and yet do not see the power thereof in our own lives?   As we hear those words echoed Today, which were asked of the multitudes who followed our Lord and Saviour, saying . . . . “Master, what must we do, so that we also might work the works of God?”   John 6:28

And to all, the answer has remained the same . . . .”My son, My daughter, give Me thine heart . . . !”   Proverbs 23:26   Are we truly willing to obtain by experience that one thing which is absolutely necessary to gain entrance to the Kingdom of God . . . to be begotten again through union with Him ?

It is our prayer that this woman’s testimony will both encourage and be a blessing to all that hear.   May our LORD and Saviour both bless and keep you !

Perils of the Emerging Church ?

A powerful message from Steve Wohlberg –

What exactly is “the Emerging church” ?  and why are we now seeing students, pastors and many congregations being encouraged to introduce “Spiritual Formation” programs into their curriculums?   Is there a danger that we may be opening the door to teachings of which we were warned of more than a hundred years ago ?    Are we witnessing the beginnings of the Omega apostasy, and a movement which will usher in the coming anti-christ ?

And why are so many of these practices also found in the mystical teachings of the pagan religions of the far East ?
Now learn the Truth which the dragon has sought to keep hidden for ages. And the role this movement is playing in preparing mankind for the final battle between Light and darkness !

The Shadow of Doubt ?

lighthouse2The Shadow of the Cross

“The cross of Calvary speaks Life and not death to the soul that believes in Jesus. Welcome the precious, life-giving rays that shine from the cross of Calvary. God would not deprive His people of blessings. It is Satan that interposes his shadow of darkness and creates misgiving and doubts, in order that we may not discern the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness shining from the cross of Calvary . . . !

Reach up for the Blessing, believe for the Blessing. Your Saviour Who died upon the cross is God’s gift to a fallen world, and that gift embraces all heaven. Walk not in the shadow of the cross. Do not give expression to weeping, lamentation, and woe; but encourage your soul to hope and joy. The cross of Calvary points you upward to a Living Saviour, Who, as your Advocate, is pleading in your behalf . . . !” Continue reading
